The house on Aldergate was priced to sell fast, and nobody at the closing mentioned why. Six weeks after moving in, Elena starts finding small handprints pressed against the inside of windows that have been painted shut since long before her family bought the place — windows on the second floor, facing rooms nobody in her family has been in.
