About Novellion

Novellion is a place to publish and read books, chapter by chapter — a direct line between people who write and people who read.

For Writers

Publish your book for free, one chapter at a time — no publisher, no gatekeeper. Keep adding chapters as you write; your book doesn't have to be finished to go live. Group related books into a series, and build a following of readers who come back for every update.

For Readers

Browse books by genre, save the ones you love to your library, and pick up exactly where you left off — Novellion tracks your reading progress automatically. Follow your favorite authors so you never miss what they publish next.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Novellion free?

Yes. Reading is free, and publishing your own book is free.

Do I need an account?

To read casually, no — you can browse and open books right away. To save books to your library, follow authors, or leave comments, you'll need a free account.

How do I start writing?

Create an account, then open your Author Dashboard to add a new book and start publishing chapters. You can keep adding chapters over time — your book doesn't have to be finished to go live.

Can readers comment on chapters?

Yes, each chapter has its own comments.

What's the difference between "My Library" and an author's page?

Your Library is private to you — it tracks what you're reading and who you follow. An author's public page is what everyone else sees: their books, series, and a Follow button.

How do I find an author I like again?

Follow them from their book or author page, then check the Following tab in your Library any time.

Can I organize a book into a series?

Yes — books can belong to a series, and all books in that series show up together on the author's page.

How do I track what I'm reading?

Novellion remembers your progress automatically. Anything you're partway through shows up under Continue Reading in your Library.

Is there a mobile app?

Not at the moment — Novellion works in your browser on desktop and mobile.
